DIET CHANGE.
After getting an oral piercing, your mouth is like an open wound that needs time to heal. To help it heal properly, it is important to keep certain substances out of your mouth that could irritate or infect the wound.

for 2 weeks.
NO DAIRY.
- Dairy products such as milk and cheese can contain bacteria that can enter the healing wound and cause infection.
- They may be acidic or contain enzymes that can irritate the sensitive tissues surrounding the piercing, slowing the healing process.
- Dairy can cause more mucus or thicker saliva, which creates a less hygienic environment around the piercing, which is not good for the healing process.

Just 2 weeks, you can do it.
NO ALCOHOL.
- Alcohol-containing products are harsh and can disrupt the natural healing process by killing beneficial bacteria and making it harder for tissues to regrow.
- Alcohol has a drying effect, which can dehydrate the area around the piercing and slow healing.
- Alcohol can increase the risk of infection by weakening the body's natural defenses, making it easier for harmful bacteria to enter the piercing wound.

be alert.
NO SPICEY FOODS.
- During the healing process, the pierced area is extra sensitive. Spicy or acidic foods can increase this sensitivity, causing more discomfort or pain.
- Eating spicy or acidic foods can cause a burning sensation or discomfort around the piercing, making it difficult to eat and keep your mouth clean.
- Spicy or acidic foods can cause inflammation in your body, which can slow down the healing process and make it take longer for your piercing to heal.

i know, i know..
NO SMOKING.
- Smoking reduces blood flow to the area around the piercing, making it harder for your body to heal.
- Smoking introduces harmful chemicals into your mouth, increasing the chance of an infection in the piercing.
- Smoking can lead to swelling, long-term pain, and other problems that slow the healing process and may require medical attention.
we recommend not to smoke during your healing process. since smoking can delay the healing, but as we all know, it's hard to stop smoking. so we recommend to smoke less and after every smoke, use piercing spray to help minimize the negative effects on your healing piercing.

TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUSLY.
TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR PIERCING.
To promote optimal healing and reduce the risk of complications, it is best to avoid alcohol-based products, including mouthwash, until the piercing has fully healed. Instead, use mild saline solutions or other solutions recommended by your piercer or healthcare provider.
